in 2012 Nathan Abels asked me if I could write two pieces of music to accompany his series of drawings and paintings entitled “Pilgrimage”.
I said I would (and had NO clue what I'd do) :)
he told me what he had in mind, the kind of sound or atmosphere he'd like me to explore. I'd never done anything like that before.
I can't really remember but I think I worked fast.
my brother mastered the two tracks and I sent them to Nathan.
he sent me a message yesterday, saying he was listening to those two movements again, etc, etc and asked why the songs had never appeared here on bandcamp (they've always been on my soundcloud page).
I thought about it and... yes, Nathan was right. why not here on bandcamp, right??
here too, from today on :)
I do love those two songs.
